Cure for boils

William Valek sat behind his desk, sipping at his coffee and staring moodily at the lesson plan Temperance had helped him come up with. Leave it to Valek to land himself a job he couldn't care less about when trying to help out Temperance Hallow. William smiled at the thought. He'd known Temperance practically their whole lives, and he was forever doing something he didn't want to just to help her out. Valek had to admit though, he'd been a bit surprised when Tempy had come to him, begging him to take over the post of Potions Master. "At least it isn't Astronomy." Valek muttered to himself as kids entered the room.

"All right you lot, today we're learning about the Cure for Boils potion. This is a simple potion, so I expect you to get it right, without exploding your cauldrons." Valek said, silently wishing classes started later in the day so that he could at least finish his coffee before having to worry about exploding cauldrons. "Now, if brewed correctly the cure for boils potion will be blue. The ingredients and brewing instructions are on the board, and the indigents are in the cupboard, so help yourself to them. When you are done place a sample of your potion in a vial and bring it to me for grading. You have one hour. Good luck." Valek said dismissively, turning back to his coffee.
